SiGMA is proud to announce EGT Digital’s sponsorship of an upcoming April expedition to Machu Picchu, Peru, where, on the 12th, the SiGMA Foundation will inaugurate a project in the Amazonian city of Iquitos. The philanthropic project supports the expansion of the Algo Bello Para Dios Hospital, which is situated within the Saint Martin de Porres parish. 

Currently serving impoverished communities, the hospital is a lifeline for those with limited access to medical care. This project will significantly bolster its capacity and resources, directly addressing the growing healthcare demands of the region.

Construction is currently underway on the Algo Bello Para Dios Hospital.

Led by Fr. Raymond Portelli, the hospital serves patients suffering from severe and chronic illnesses such as AIDS, tuberculosis, cancer, and renal failure. Key upgrades include expanded inpatient facilities, new patient rooms, a green therapeutic recreation area, a conference room for staff training, a storage facility, and water tanks to ensure a stable water supply. These additions aim to increase the hospital’s capacity to treat more patients while improving the quality of care and creating a more holistic healing environment.
